Anthony (aka Skids/Tony/Sid/El Skideoo) Lucan, Co. Dublin. Peacefully after a short illness, at James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of Christine (Chris), dear father of Anthony, Helen, David and Alan and a devoted/ cherished grandfather of Jack, Ava, Mia, Ryan, Zach, Amy, Freya, Abbie and Alex. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends & former colleagues of south Dublin County Council. A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When the current circumstances have passed, we look forward to celebrating Anthony’s life with friends and extended family, for as he requested one hell of a send-off. Family flowers on please. Donations, if desired, to Crumlin Children’s Hospital or the Irish Cancer Society. Forever will be missed but never forgotton.
